Craig A. Powell, 47, of Zionsville IN, passed away August 23, 2009. He was born February 6, 1962 in Las Cruces, NM to the late Thomas & Marilyn Powell. Craig was a 1988 graduate of Purdue University, majoring in Aerospace Engineering. He worked for the Ford Motor/Visteon Corporation as an Engineer and Engineering Manager since 1997.
Craig was a proud husband and step-father of 4 wonderful daughters. He is survived by his wife of 5 years, Paige Slaughter, and by his daughters, Lindsey (16), Anna (12), and twins Mary Grace and Rebecca (9) and their grandparents Steve and Reta Slaughter. He is also survived by his brother, Keith Powell, of Tucson AZ.
Services will be held in the Gothic Chapel of Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 27 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and the funeral service will be held on Friday, August 28 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St Vincent's Hospice of Indianapolis.
