Her parents, 5 brothers and 4 sisters preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory, sons, David Metcalfe, Bowman Metcalfe Jr, Robert Metcalfe, daughters, Renee J. Bentley (Robert), Victoria Elizabeth Davis (Edward), Kimberly Joyce Metcalfe, 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchilden and a host of extended family and friends.
Her visitation will take place on Saturday, August 30, 2014, 9am- 11am, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 11am at Progressive Baptist Church. Her burial will take place in New Crown Cemetery.
