Mrs. Madeline Holt, 97, of Indianapolis, Indiana, transitioned from labor to reward on July 25, 2017. She was a long time, faithful member of Greater Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church and retired asa Nurses Aid from Community East Hospital. Mrs. Holt leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her awesome life, children: Joel Holt (Saundra) and Kathleen Holt; siblings: Lt. Colonel James Taylor, Retired and Verena Strong; 2 grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of extended family and friends. Her visitation is Saturday, July 1, 2017, 10am - 12pm, with the Homegoing Celebration at 12pm at Greater Gethesemane Missionary Baptist Church. The interment will immediately follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
