Pam was educated in the Indianapolis Public Schools System graduating from Washington High School in 1978. She married the loveof her life Willie E Jones in 1986, which they celebrated nearly 30 years of marriage, and being best friends.
Pam professed a hope in Christ and baptized at the age of 13. She was a member of Phillips Temple C.M.E. Church and loves Psalms 27, and often asked for it to be recited at her bedside.
Pam was employed by Moss & Elam, and later became self employed as as a daycare provider. She gained a reputation for being an expert potty-trainer! Her day care kids adored her, and as they got older they never stop calling her "Aunt Pam". Pam's compassion for children was shown not only among those she raised in her daycare, but also for extending her love and resources to many by opening her home to anyone who needed a safe haven. She also provided foster care to more than ten children over the past 10 years.
Through the faith and perseverance Pam overcame numerous health-related setbacks. She recently celebrated 5 years as a heart transplant recipient. She didn't waste anytime being self-absorbed with setbacks, but instead was always full of life with a ready smile and a great sense of humor. Pam enjoyed taking care of her family, extended family, playing and coach girls volleyball. She also was a member of "Trophy House" bowling team for the past 10 years.
