

Margaret Belle Singleton Brown was the daughter of John Singleton and Ida Singleton Vertreace. She was born on August 2, 1926 in Louisville, Kentucky. She attended Public School and attended Crispus Attucks High School. Born to Margaret and Edward Madry were eight children. He preceded her in death. Margaret worked for Betty Chapman and the Indianapolis Museum of Art until her retirement.
She was baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost under the leadership of Bishop Byron V. Johnson and was also under the leadership of Bishop Charles M. Finnell. During this time she lived in the Jackson Place Senior Living Home. She became ill and needed the constant care of a nursing home. She became a resident at Wellington Manor. She received constant care from her children and the wonderful Seasons Hospice Care staff and workers at Wellington Manor. Margaret during this time was fellowshipped into the Zion Tabernacle Family and was a member under the leadership of Elder Thomas Griffin. Margaret loved her family and friends. She was very independent and always felt in her heart God will keep you in perfect peace if you keep your mind stayed on him. She loved helping others and praising God, writing letters and sending cards. Margaret Belle Brown departed this life on February 18, 2010 at the age of Eighty Three years old. She leaves to cherish her memory Dennis Carl Madry, Gary L. Madry, Jeffrey A. Madry, Kenneth Brown-Madry , Leslie Brown (Sam), Maria Jake (Joseph), Anita Madry, and special sister-in law Sabrina Brown. Nephew: Kenneth Oglesby and niece Leslie Johnson from Dayton, Ohio. Other nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, church family and friends.
