Nancy A. Shea Swallow

84, of Indianapolis died May 5, 2011. Nancy was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, July 15, 1926, to John P. Shea and Cecelia Diebold Shea. She was also raised by her Aunt Emma Diebold Shea after the death of her mother when she was four. Her late siblings were Jack Shea, Mary Margaret Ford, Patricia M. Bunch and Julia S. Hixenbaugh.

Nancy was the beloved wife of William L. Swallow and loving mother of Chris and Sally Swallow Davis. She has six grandchildren, Emily, Bade, Ian Swallow, Dalton, Julia, Cole and Shane Davis. Nancy attended St. Phillip Neri Grade School, St. Mary Academy, and IUPUI. She was a professional realtor for 30 years and a member of The Metropolitan Board of Realtors. Nancy enjoyed music, concerts, dancing, bowling, and sewing. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday May 10 at 11 am at Little Flower Catholic Church. Visitation will be Monday May 9 from 4 – 8 pm at the Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. She will be missed tremendously by her family and friends.
