Nathaniel Mosley Jr.

Nathaniel Mosley Jr., 70, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on January 9th, 2022 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. A public visitation, will be held from 2:30pm to 6pm on January 14th, 2022 at Crown Hill Funeral Home in Indianapolis, IN for Nathaniel’s family and friends. A private Burial will be held for the immediate family.

Nathaniel was born in Winchester, Tennessee to Nathaniel Mosley Sr and. Amanda (Dartis) Mosley on August 21st, 1951. He attended school in Indianapolis, IN and graduated from Shortridge High School. He later wed Debria (Hunley) Mosley on December 12th, 1970 in Indianapolis, IN. Nathaniel worked as a Technician for Indiana Bell (now AT&T) for 30 years. After retirement he enjoyed passing his time with family, fishing, traveling, and most of all; spoiling his grandchildren. Nathaniel held his grandchildren in high regard and always looked forward to any of their life events. He loved sports; ESPN’s First Take was a fixed part of he’s daily routine.

Nathaniel is preceded in death by his Mother and Father (Nathaniel Sr and Amanda Mosley) and his son Nathaniel Mosley III. Nathaniel is survived by his Wife Debria, his Children; Breck Mosley, David [Heather] Mosley, and Tiffany Mosley. His Sisters and Brother: Ira Elliot, Renita Patrick, Stacie Mosley, and Tracey Mosley. Grandchildren: Taylor (Mosley) Datulma [Renel], Lauren Mosley, Ashley Mosley, Sophia Mosley, Caden Mosley, and Kaitlyn Mosley.

The family would like to acknowledge two special people in Nathaniel’s life; Dorothy Welch of Detroit, MI and Clarice Mosley of Fort Worth, TX.
