

He was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 1, 1925. He was the son of Wilfred A. Wylde and Ann G. (Wentz) Wylde.
Neil was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II and a Purple Heart recipient. He was a Radioman and also ran the movie projector on the fantail of the USS Bates.
Neil owned Wylde Insurance Agency until he retired in 1995. Neil enjoyed golfing, watching movies, loved to watch baseball, and taught himself to play the harmonica at the age of 54. He gave many concerts through the years which were enjoyed by all. He enjoyed playing cribbage and telling jokes. He was also a projectionist part-time at a local movie theater for 13 years after he retired from Wylde Insurance Agency.
He was predeceased by his sister, Jean Marra. Survivors include his wife Angeline Wylde, Son David (Karen) Wylde of Wesley Chapel, NC and daughter Debra (Thomas) Mattingly of Speedway, IN and two grandchildren, Jill (Casey) Dregits and Eric (Melissa) Mattingly and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 12th at Trinity Episcopal Church, 3243 N. Meridian St, Indianapolis, IN 46208 Calling will be from 10am to 1130am, Service will start promptly at 12pm, inurnment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
