

Kay is survived by the love of her life for the last 55 years Stephen Morton, Daughters: Lora (Sam) Summers, Katherine (Logan) Cameron, Jennifer Hendrickson (James Willoughby II). Grandchildren: Elijah Bernard, Matthew Summers, Marissa Summers (Luis Mariscal), Hannah Knoll, Victoria Willoughby, James Willoughby III, and 2 Great-Grandchildren. Kay was blessed with 7 bonus Grandchildren and 9 bonus Great-Grandchildren. Kay is also survived by 3 sisters, Pat (John) Wampner, Linda Houchins, Jan (Tom) Linkowski.
She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Rosemary Harvey, brother Steve Harvey, sister Deena Harvey, son-in-law James Henderickson, and brother-in-law Tom Houchins.
Kay was a 1966 graduate of Warren Central High School. Kay graduated from Beauty College in the late 1960’s. After her daughters were born, she was a homemaker until 1985. Kay started at the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, until her retirement in 2011. Kay`s greatest love was children. She loved spending time with family and friends, camping, and fishing at Shakamak State Park and Capitol City Conservation Club. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, thrift store and yard sale shopping. She enjoyed taking cruises and vacations. On Sundays, you could always find her watching the Indianapolis Colts as she was an avid Colts fan.
The visitation for Kay Morton will be held Friday, December 8, 2023, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Family Funeral Care- Rockville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224, followed by a funeral service at 6:00pm.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Wheeler Mission or to the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in the name of Kay Morton.
