Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Monday May 4, 2020 at Crown Hill Funeral Home with the Jeff Miner, Senior Pastor of LifeJourney Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Crown Hill Funeral Home.
Pamela Louise Denny-Rohrbach was born May 14, 1951 to Charles Denny and Nedra Trees. She went to school at Anderson, Indiana. She married David Rohrbach on September 12, 1984 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She graduated from Indiana University, Bloomington -Bachelor of Fine Arts 1969-1974, Queens College, City University of New York, Master of Fine Arts 1975-1977, Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana - Master of Arts Administration Program and Fellowship 1981-1982, Indiana University, Indianapolis, Administration and Supervision, Graduate Program, 1993-1997. She worked as a Art Teacher- Broad Ripple High School, Assistant Principal - Emma Donnan Middle School, Margaret McFarland Middle School, Julian D. Coleman Middle School, Shortridge Middle School, Forest Manor Middle School, Director of Art, Art Teacher- Northwest High School for Indianapolis Public Schools for 32 years worked. She was involved in Artist in residence - American Muse Gallery, Board of Directors, T.C. Steele State Historic Site, Belmont, Indiana, Guest Educator, Eiteljorg Museum, Guest Educator and Exhibiting Artist, Indiana State Museum, Colts Project, Coordinator of Youth Employment Programs, Arts Specialist, Coach of Girls Athletics, Grants writer and Acting Principal Designate - Key Renaissance Middle School, Head Coach of Girls Athletics, Evening School Teacher. She received Above and Beyond the Call of Duty Award - Indianapolis Public School, Horace Mann Crystal Apple Award for Outstanding Performance, Teacher Creativity Award - Lilly Endowment, 1992 and 2001, Golden Apple Award, Indianapolis Power and Light, Creative Curriculum, Ace Award, American United Life, Outstanding Educator,Academic Super Bowl Coach, two state titles - T.C. Howe High School and New Palestine High School.
Pamela Louise Denny-Rohrbach is preceded in death by her parents Charles Calvin Denny 1913-1974; Nedra Juanita Trees 1915 - 1996, ex husband David Rohrbach 1952 - 2012.
Pamela Louise Denny-Rohrbach is survived by one son, Charles Richard Rohrbach - Allison, daughter in-law, Sister Jill Camille Smith - Ted, brother in-law, one niece - Jessica and one nephew - Trey, one cousin - Marcia Clevenger, Grandchildren Eleanor Grace, twin boys Henry James, Harrison Chase Rohrbach, and present partner Dr. Prudence Bridgwaters,
