

Pastor Joseph D. Foreman was born March 9, 1947 in Evansville, Indiana. He was adopted and reared by the now late Willie Pearl Ketch, a Missionary in the Church of God in Christ. Raised in the Watkins Temple Church of God in Christ, Pastor Foreman was taught the word of God and received a calling for a teaching ministry at an early age. When Joseph was a young teen, God called his adoptive mother home to be with Him so Joseph's birth mother, Mary Foreman, finished his upbringing.
Joseph began pastoring in 1977. He served as Moderator of the Terre Haute District Free Will Conference of fifteen churches for nearly eight years. He was Dean of Education for the Free Will Conference for nearly eleven years and also pastored five Free Will Churches during that thirty six year period. During the last three years of his life, he was Associate Pastor at Judah Life Destiny Church, serving with his wife, Pastor Mary L. Foreman as Pastors of the Marriage Ministry under the direction of Senior Pastor Wynne D. Berry, Sr. being restored in God's word.
Pastor Joseph D. Foreman leaves behind to mourn his passing, his loving wife, Mary L. Foreman, sons: Spencer Foreman, Kristopher Berry and Israel Gamble; daughters: Anita N. Foreman, Kim M. Foreman and Brandi T. Hampton; brother, Bill Harris,ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
The visitation will take place on Saturday, November 30, 2013, 10am - 12pm, with the Homegoing commencing at 12pm at First Freewill Baptist Church. The burial will take place at Sutherland Park Cemetery.
