Patrick Stacy Bowman

Patrick was born in Cleveland, OH to parents Lorena Bowles (Roy) and Albert Bowman.

Pat is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sue Bowman; Siblings William Bowles (Sue) and Michael Bowman (Annie); Sons Norman, Roy (Charlene) and Drew; Grandchildren, Ryan (Marci), Brandi (Chris), Chad, Stephanie (Craig), Jacob (Hannah), Jalen; Great-grandchildren, Blake (Tiffany), Emma, Brooklyn, Brody, Bentley, Brandon and Ember; Great great grandchild, Journey.

Pat spent his childhood in West Virginia and his adolescent years traveling the world with his military family. He would spend 3 years in Italy where he met his lifelong friends, including Ronnie Bentley (Bridget), who he considered family. Pat graduated high school from Laurel, Maryland. Pat went on to be a proud Marksman in the 101st Airborne in the United States Army. After his time in the service, he married Mildred Sue Jenkins in Evansville, IN and then moved their family to Indianapolis, Indiana, where they would raise their three boys.

Pat started his career at Kent Plastics in Evansville before continuing on as an insurance agent in Indianapolis for the next 40 years.

In retirement, Pat enjoyed Randy’s Cigar shop with a core group of friends. Pat also enjoyed exercising daily and watching his family grow.

The family would like to thank Majestic Care of Avon for loving and caring for Pat for the past two years.

A visitation for Patrick will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Family Funeral Care-Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM.
