93, of Indianapolis passed away on February 12, 2012. He was born on January 22, 1919 in Fort Jennings, Ohio to William and Emma Millenbaugh Ostendorf. Paul served in the U.S. Army as a Sargent during WWII with the Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe campaigns. He worked as a conductor for the Pennsylvania Railroad, retiring in 1981. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Paul is the widower of Vivian T. Rahrig Ostendorf. He is survived by his wife, Patty Ostendorf, children; Linda J. Stratmann, Larry P., Mark A. and Michael W. Ostendorf, brother, Walter Osterdorf, sister, Eleanor Pokey, grandchildren; Angela Ostendorf, Jennifer Noelle, Greg, David, Richard and William Ostendorf and great grandson Maxwell Noelle. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday February 15 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church at 1 pm. Visitation will be Tuesday February 14 from 4 – 8 pm at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary.
