Paulette Gale Jordan

Paulette Gale Jordan, 63, of Plymouth, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 5, 2022. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 26, 1958, the second child of the late Lambert and Wilma Georgen. She graduated from Forest View High School in 1977.

She married Jerry Clemens and to this union were born three children: Christopher, Corey and Courtney. Later, she married Tom Jordan and to this union were born Jennifer and Jefferey. Paulette was the absolute best mother, always putting her children before her own needs, often times more than her children wanted. She truly lived and breathed for them. Her 12 grandchildren, Cali, Carson, Brooklyn, Piper, Quinn, Claire, Carter, Charlotte, Jayden, Jude, Charlie and Lilliana were the greatest joy of her life, and she coveted every moment she spent with them.

Paulette worked in retail most of her life with other jobs in college bookstores and at a veterinarian in Lubbock, Texas. She last worked as a cashier at Kroger in Plymouth, Indiana. She loved music, so much so that while working at Piggly Wiggly in Plymouth, WI she was known as the singing cashier. Christmas music was her absolute favorite. It was her happy music and she listened to it year-round. She also loved to read. She was steadfast in her faith and never wavered, even with her health issues later in life. She would make the best of any situation, always putting a smile on her face and humming a tune. Paulette was the kindest soul you could ever meet. Her laugh was infectious, and you always knew when she was in the room, because she lit it up! She had the best sense of humor and always had something witty and fun to say! She was caring and selfless. The way she listened to you made you feel like no one else in the world mattered at that moment.

She is survived by her children: Christopher (wife Madison) Clemens, of Ropesville, Texas, Corey (wife Amy) Clemens of Howards Grove, Wisconsin, Courtney (husband Spencer) Loebel of Glenbeulah, Wisconsin, Jennifer (husband Ben) White of Andrews, Texas, and Jefferey (wife Breanna) Jordan of Lubbock, Texas. She is also survived by her brother Paul, (fiancé Laura) Georgen of Plymouth, Indiana, and Phillip (wife Lisa) Georgen of Zionsville, Indiana, as well as her 12 grandchildren. Her parents preceded her in death.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at New Song Church in Plymouth, Indiana at 3 pm. Visitation will begin at 2 pm. Her children have chosen to celebrate her life as she would have wanted. CHRISTMAS! Please come dressed in your favorite festive Christmas attire, sweaters, light bulb necklaces, etcetera.

She will be interred at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Palatine, Illinois next to her parents.

Mom, you will be missed more than you know. We will always love you and hold you in our hearts!
