Peggy Lynn Carpenter, age 65, of Danville, Illinois passed away on Friday April 3, 2020. Peggy was born January 18, 1955. Peggy was very artistic and could draw, paint, and play piano. She also had a passion for screen plays. She was a bit of a dreamer but grounded in her faith in Jesus throughout her life. Her family was the most important part of her life and she was especially good with children. She had a way of making them feel special by spending the time to sit with them and have conversations. Those who knew and loved her will always remember her distinctive laugh.
Peggy is survived by her mother, Constance Ann (Smith) Love; son, Brian Carpenter (Amber); daughter, Amy Lynn Carpenter; grandchildren, Annabella, Sophia, and Max Carpenter; sisters, Gail Collins (Craig) and Dawn Dunkman (Bill); brothers, Matt Spiering (Mazel) and Tim Spiering; and many nieces and nephews.
Peggy was preceded in death by her father, David Lee Spiering; son, Ross Carpenter; step-father, Paul Love; sister-in-law, Cathy Spiering; and niece Cierra Spiering.
Family Funeral Care has been entrusted with private family arrangements.
