Age 55, passed February 24, 2014. He is preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Murray and brother, David Brown.
Phillip is survived by his parents, Hugh and Barbara Brown; daughters, Brooke (Joshua) Wilson and Sara McIntosh-Brown; son, Jeffrey Matlock-Brown; sisters, Opal (Harold) Rumple, Donna Strange, Kathy Brown, Belinda (Bill) Bacon, and Denise Gross; brothers, Keith (Helen) Brown and Donnie Brown; numerous, aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Phillip was a graduate of Avon High school class of 1978 and was a proud member of both the American Legion Post #64 and the VFW.
The Family will receive friends at Family Funeral Care, 5791 Rockville Rd., Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a funeral service held at 7:00 pm. A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 12:00pm in the chapel at Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield, IN.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to either a homeless or an animal shelter of your choice.
