He graduated from Attucks Highschool in 1958. He was the former pastor of Eastside Missionary Baptist Church.
His father, Alfred Brown Sr, mother, Joy Bransford preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Pastor Benjamin F. Brown (Carolyn), Joseph A. Brown (Natachia), Ray S. Brown, brothers, Charles Brown Sr (Scotia), Rev. Alfred Brown Jr, sisters, Patricia Ann Mackey, Reverend Alfreida Black (Kenneta), 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
His visitation will take place on Saturday, July 19, 2014, 10am- 12pm, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 12pm at Eastside Missionary Baptist Church. His burial will take place in New Crown Cemetery.
