I've known Uncle Ren since before I was born... 38 years. Some of my earliest memories were going to his house in Aiea before the UH football games. He gave me my first job at his shave ice stand at aloha tower and most recently helped me find shave ice supplies so i can make decent shave ice for my family now living away from hawaii. I love you uncle Ren! I will miss talking to you and all I've learned from you will be with me always!

Ren was a very special friend! He made me laugh, and we had many great laughs together. He was so sharp on recalling the past. He never forgot a face, a friend, or a special event. Ren was great at remembering the details about his youth, his schooling, his days in Hawaii, California, and Indiana. He fell in love with Jesus about 10-12 years ago, and he gave his life to the Lord. Ren had a zeal for life and the Lord! Ren really accomplished so much in his 71 years here on earth. We already miss Ren!
He is with the Lord, and may his legacy live on through his loved ones and the many organizations that he served. 💜

We are so thankful that we got to be close friends with Ren the last 4 years of his life. He had a passion for the Lord, and he was happy to share the reason for his faith. He was a special friend with a kind heart who loved life! I will miss his quick wit and sense of humor. We will miss doing things together and seeing him at Chapel Rock Christian Church on Sundays. ❤❤
