Richard E. Neibert

Richard E. Neibert 76, passed away peacefully at his home in Acton on July 26, 2010. Richard was born in St. Louis, MO in 1934 to the late Robert and Esther Neibert. As a result of his birthright, Richard became an avid and devoted Cardinals fan and later became a recommending scout for the team. He later moved to Indianapolis, working for Eli Lilly as a senior solutions operator. He met the love of his life, Sharyn Wright in 1954. They renewed their vows this past June, celebrating 55 years of marriage. Richard was a 20-year volunteer firefighter for Franklin Twp and was also an umpire for the Little League of Franklin Twp. Surviving with his loving wife are two sons, Richard A. (Debbie) and Randall S. Neibert; two daughters, Cynthia Payne and Kimberly (George) Brown. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Friends may call on Thursday, July 29, 2010 from 4-8 p.m. with the funeral service on Friday, July 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. all at Little and Sons Funeral Home Stop 11 Chapel.
