75, of Indianapolis passed away on August 26, 2014. He was born July 13, 1938 in Brown County, Indiana to Rex Sr. and Milly Thompson. He had worked at RCA, Clark Appliances. Lilly and Enterprise. He was a member of Eastside Bassmasters and AA. Richard enjoyed skeet shooting, golf, bowling, reading and being an armchair coach. Richard is survived by his beloved wife Shirley Thompson, children Jayne Grimm, Teresa Ralston, Julie Beth, Richard Thompson II, Roger Thompson, brothers Rex Thompson Jr., Raymond Thompson, grandchildren Stephen, Ronnie, Richard III, Lauren, Justin, Nathan, Joanna and Matt, great grandchildren Issac, Kendra and Erica.
