Robert Edwin Roth, 86, died January 27, 2009 in Chandler, AZ. Robert served in the US Navy during WWII, and was a graduate of Ohio State University. He was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Robert retired from Detroit Diesel Allison in 1986 and was a life member of the American Welding Society and the American Society for Metals.
He is survived by his wife Louise F. Roth; two sons, Dr. Kris Roth, St. Marys, GA, Paul Roth, New Palestine, IN; step sons, Eric Myers, David Myers, Chris Myers; grandchildren, Robert Roth, Tiffany Myers, Jeff Myers, Andy Myers, Curtis Myers, Caroline Myers, Catherine ; great grandchildren, Anu Myers,
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Roth, brother, Paul F. Roth, sisters, Dorothy Taylor, Helen Benson, Anna Kirk, and Margaret Heiney.
Services will be held Friday February 6, 2009 at the Crown Hill Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 P.M. with calling from 11:30 A.M. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery.
