Passed away on June 2, 2013 at St Joseph Memorial Hospital.

Robert Lee Turner was born on January 3, 1930 the son of Willie Turner, Sr. and Iola Raab Turner in Granite Quarry, North Carolina. He was employed as a machinist at Chrysler Corporation, retiring after 25 years of service. He was a member of Wayman Chapel A.M.E. Church, UAW Local 685, American Legion Post 177, 20 Plus Club and a United States Airforce veteran, retiring in 1971 after 20 years of service.

His parents, three sisters and 3 brothers preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Alice M. Turner, children, Annette M. Griffin, Anthony Lee Turner of Chester, PA and Brian Proctor, three grandchildren, Latashia Griffin, Tyrhan Turner (Sabrina) , Ciara Turner all of Chester, PA and 4 great grandchildren, Lyrik Barbour of Kokomo, Tyrhan Turner, Charell King, Raquan Simpson all of Chester, PA.

Services will be held on Monday, June 10, 2013, 1 P.M. at Wayman Chapel A.M.E. Church, 920 Apperson Way North, Kokomo. Pastor Louis Parham will be the officiant and eulogist.
