Robert Clifton White

Bob was born in Indianapolis to Ruth (Cutsinger) and Howard White on November 16, 1927. He grew up in the Fountain Square area, and graduated from Arsenal Technical High School. Her served in the United States Navy where he was trained in Meteorology. He is a graduate of Butler University, and studied Mathematics and Accounting. He was also State Champion in cross country. He married Mary Ellen Holtman on October 19, 1963. He enjoyed an active lifestyle of cycling and golfing, and was licensed to fly single-engine aircraft. He was also an amateur radio operator.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 54 years, Mary Ellen.

Bob is survived by his son, Jeff White (Barbara) of Brownsburg, and his daughter, Cathy Pannebaker (Matt) of Delaware, Ohio, and his four grandchildren - Madeline White, and Samuel, Jonathan, and Matthew Pannebaker.

Memorials may be given in Bob's honor to The Alzheimers Association. The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff members who contributed to his care at Brownsburg Meadows, I.U. West Hospital, and Countryside Meadows.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30pm on Friday, May 1, 2020, at Crown Hill Cemetery.
