Rosemary Brodnik

Rosemary Wente Brodnik, of Indianapolis, passed away May 6, 2023. She was born October 2, 1936. Rosemary was a stay-at-home mother until she went to work in 1980 and eventually retired a department manager of Target In 2002. She attended Marian college to study nursing for several semesters while raising her family. She decided to make a new life for herself and moved to Florida in 1993 once her family was grown. This is where she enjoyed most of her golden years taking in the beaches and participating in her favorite hobby collecting seashells. She moved back to Indianapolis in 2020 to finish her journey in life surrounded by loved ones.

She is survived by her sister, Sr. Therese Wente and children: Steve (Elizabeth) Brodnik, Christina "Tina" (Mike) Melber, John (Sheri) Brodnik, Dave (Davida) Brodnik, James "Jim" (Chris) Brodnik, Timothy "Tim" (Kaitie) Brodnik, Kevin (Jeannette) Brodnik; 20 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and her pup, Finley.

A Catholic Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, June 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 5301 W. 16th St., Speedway Indiana 46224. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
