Ross Stanley Givens, 19, of Indianapolis, died on February 11, 2015. Ross was born on August 6, 1995 in Indianapolis. He is survived by his parents, Stanley and Martha; his brother, Scott; grandmothers Eunice Givens of Charlotte, NC and Margaret Gentry of Indianapolis; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family, and friends. His paternal grandfather, Odell Givens, preceded him in death.
Ross attended The Orchard School from preschool through 8th grade, graduating in 2010. He subsequently attended North Central High School and the Excel Center. Ross graduated from high school, with college credits, in January 2015. He planned to begin college later this year.
Ross was a friend to all who knew him. He had a quiet, but fun-loving spirit and enjoyed spending time with his family and his many friends, watching movies, playing video games, playing basketball, and wearing the latest fashions. He loved his large family, especially his grandmothers, deeply. He dreamed of being a businessman--an entrepreneur--and enjoyed helping others. He was baptized at Light of The World Christian Church by his father in 2006 and he knew and loved the Lord.
