Ruby Mae Young

Ruby attended Indianapolis Public Schools: she graduated from Crispus Attacks High School in 1956.

She was united in marriage in (1956) and from this union four children were born.

Ruby worked many years at RCA, where she enjoyed playing on the softball team.

In 1970, Ruby dedicated her life to Jehovah God and became a baptized servant of Jehovah.

She faithfully served as one of Jehovah's Witnesses until the day she passed away. She was steadfast in

her faith, known to all as Mom, and was a wonderful example. Ruby enjoyed gatherings she hosted

many Tupperware, Sarah Coventry and Home Interior parties just to enjoy the fellowship of the friends.

Ruby will always be remembered by her style and class.

Ruby passed away on January 4, 2019 and was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother

James Arthur Fowler.

Her memory will be cherished by her children Paula Ann McGhee, Paul Arthur Young Jr., Deborah Anita

White, and Maurice Anthony Young. She is also survived by one sister Geraldine Shaw. At the time of

her death she had six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one great- great grandchild and a host

of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

A visitation for Ruby will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46208. Service will be held immediately following visitation at 2:00 p.m.
