79, of Noblesville passed away May 31, 2011. He was born Sept. 14, 1931 in McLeansboro, IL to Russell H. and Lula Mae (Elder) Pemberton. He proudly served his country during the Korean War with the United States Marine Corps. Russell worked as an insurance broker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie L. (Braasch) Pemberton. He is survived by his daughters, Kathleen Pemberton and Janice Birnbaum, granddaughter, Charissa Birnbaum, son-in-law Cecil Birnbaum, sisters Phyllis Greer, Audrey Warrick, Mary Braun, and brothers John and Bill Pemberton. Memorial services will be Friday, June 3rd at 10:30 am in College Wesleyan Church Chapel, 200 East 38th Street, Marion, Indiana followed by a military graveside service at Marion National Cemetery at 12:00 pm.
