Aunt Ruth:  You were such an inspiration.  You always had a smile on your face, always encouraged us, and you were always talking about the Lord and how exciting it was to counsel young couples in your church alongside your loving husband Uncle Roger.   We are at a loss without you, but your light still shines as long as Uncle Roger is with us.  We will see you up in Heaven one day!   Until then, we will carry on and serve the Lord, just as you have so faithfully done.

My heart is so sad to learn of your passing.  I have recently had to say good by to so many people I love but I never thought you would be one of them. I will always treasure the time I spent with you at Triton when I was your assistant and reading aid. You are and always will be special to me. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I remember Ruth Being my Den Leader in Cub Scouts with Matt. I also remember a science fair project in elementary school both Matt and I did together titled "How long does it take a biodegradable bag to degrade?". The project was a huge hit that grabbed a lot of attention. Looking back now, it was really nice having both our families work together to create a huge success. Thank you Ruth and entire Hostetler family....such a wonderful family.

She was one of my favorites teachers ever.  I will never forget her kindness as my 6th Grade Teacher.  She was a wonderful lady.  My deepest sympathies to the family.

I am so sorry.  Ruth was such a sweet Christian lady. I pray God's peace will cover you as you begin your journey without her. She has gone to a much better place.

Ruth was such a wonderful, loving individual.  She definitely left her mark in a very positive way.  I have many fond memories of her and I know I am far from the only one.  Please accept my deepest condolences.

What a beautiful soul heaven has gained! So sorry for your loss. I worked with Ruth at Triton. She taught both my daughters and husband. We were also blessed to utilize her counseling gift for my oldest daughter. God's blessings as your family mourns this great loss. I pray for Him to give each of you His peace, which only He can give, to get you thru each day ahead.

So sorry to the Hostetler family. I always thought Ruth was one of the most friendly ladies I never met. . My late husband Roy coached your son in little league several times. I pray for your family. God Bless you all.

I am so sorry for your loss. Ruth was a very sweet, caring, and wonderful woman. I am one of her students from Triton. I also was a client who she counseled. I have so many great memories with her. I was really close to her as a child in first grade, and that led into adulthood. We lost contact over the years but I will never forget the wonderful memories I had with her. I always said she was my favorite.

To the Hostetler Family: I am sorry to hear of the passing of Ruth.  I thought the world of her and was happy to have met her during my student teaching assignment at Triton Central Elementary in her first grade classroom. I was her first student teacher.  She was a phenomenal teacher and I learned lots from her.  She will definitely be missed.
