Ruth P. Lindsey 81, passed quietly away at Manor Care Health Center in Indianapolis on May 21, 2010. Ruth was born in Pomona, IL to the late John and Hattie Orsburn in 1928. She married Floyce Lindsey in Paducah, KY on October 13, 1947. Ruth was a wonderful homemaker and an avid gardener who loved to grow and arrange flowers. She dearly loved her family and will be truly missed. Ruth is survived by her husband, Floyce; sons, Harold (wife Mary Jean) Lindsey, Roger Lindsey, daughters; Linda (husband Steve) Aliff, Cathy (husband Randy) Ervin; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and her sister, Dena Mae Smith. Ruth was preceded in death by 2 sons, John and Stevie Lindsey; brothers, John, Claude and Gene and one sister Ida Mae Raines. Friends may call on Monday, May 24, 2010 from 4 to 8 p.m. in Little and Sons Funeral Home Stop 11 Chapel. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.
