40, Indianapolis, passed away September 16, 2014. He was born in San Francisco, CA on January 8, 1974, and said he loved the city so much, it was only when he was there he felt he was truly home. He was a member of the DPW Burning Man Work Crew and community and worked on several art constructions, including some of the largest art installations ever on the playa. He designed and worked on building the first Indiana Core Project, the INchanted Forest. He was an avid caver, and when necessary, was called on to assist with cave rescue/recovery. He enjoyed old school BMX bikes, photography, landscaping, cliffdiving, and kayaking. Ryan is survived by his mother: Cheryl Fennimore Brown, (James Krashin), father: J. Alexander Brown, children: Skylar Stone-Brown, Lila and Liam Neary, and a host of family and friends. A celebration of Ryan’s life will be Saturday, January 10, at 5:00pm at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary with an invitation to all friends and family to gather for refreshments 1 hour prior to services.
