Staisha A. Wilson was born on April 14, 1994, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Staisha was raised and grew up in the Pike Township School District; attending College Park, Snacks Crossing, Deer Run Elementary Schools, and Guion Creek Middle School. She was a graduate from Pike High School with the Class of 2013; right before graduating that year she completed a CNA class in-which she received a certificate. In August of 2013, Staisha attended Vincennes University located in Vincennes, Indiana. The following year, she was back at home attending classes at Ivy Tech Community College.
Staisha was raised and had grown up to be a go-getter. She had her first job at the age of sixteen-years-old, working at a Subway Sandwich restaurant. She obtained her first full-time employment at United States Postal Service in her early twenties. She has worked at the Fastenal Warehouse and Amazon. Staisha later took on a bartending class in-which she did complete. This is around the time the opportunity for a career change became available; Staisha decided to put her CNA skills to use and go work in Senior Living Community. Her current facility of employment was at the Castleton Health. Staisha had just taken on a second employment opportunity as a Security Guard for the Speedway Coca Cola Factory.
As a child, Staisha was baptized at the Central Heights Church of Christ. As a teenager up to her adulthood, she attended service at First Baptist Church North Indianapolis with her mother. Throughout those same years, she would also attend service with her grandmother (Brenda) at the Eagle Creek Church of Christ.
Staisha was a friendly, cheerful person who always laughed and smiled. Her heart was full of love and kindness. She liked going to different hangout spots with her friends and/or cousins. As she became an adult she would travel out of town with her friends. Staisha loved to go out to eat at new restaurants; she especially loved home cooked soul food meals by certain family members.
Staisha has gained her wings and preceded in death by her grandfather Robert T. Bigbee, her grandfather Howard E. Wilson, and her uncle Larry J. Wilson.
Staisha leaves behind her immediate family: her mother Rasheda Bigbee, her father Howard Wilson, her sisters Sjontia Poole and Destinee Wilson, her grandmothers Brenda Tunstall and Rita Wilson, her aunts Juanaia Jones, Kimberly Wilson-Barns, Aisha Bigbee, and Bianca Jones, her uncles Robert Bigbee, Robert Frye, Demond Jones, and Andrew Bigbee. Along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins within the family, and all of her friends.
