Steven Shick Overbeck

Steve graduated in 1965 from Purdue University with a Bachelor in Science in Civil Engineering. He then started his career in construction, working for Tousley-Bixler Construction Co., Inc. eventually as Vice President. In 1984 he became President of Summit Construction Co., Inc. Steve grew Summit from a small renovation contractor, to one of the more respected and capable General Contractors/Construction Managers in the Central Indiana area, ultimately as the company owner.

Family meant everything to Steve. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Zebarth. He is survived by the love of his life of 56 years, Mary Kay (Niesse) Overbeck; children Scott, Mary Lynn (Larry) Lesnick, Kassy (Jeff) McPherson, and Dan (Katie) Overbeck; grandchildren Turner (Leelynn), Conner, and Caden Lesnick, Kaitlyn, Meggie, Patrick, and Sarah McPherson, and Steven, Ellie, and Emily Overbeck.

Visitation will be Friday, June 17th at 11am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 7200 Sarto Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46240, in the Narthex. Immediately following the visitation, Mass will be offered at 1pm in the church.
