Susan Katherine Torzewski

She was born in San Bernadino, CA on June 22, 1944, to Thomas and Kathryn Thompson, and lived most of her life in Indianapolis, IN and Our Lady Of Lourdes Parish. She was a 1962 graduate of Scecina High School. Susan and Dan had been parishioners at Holy Spirit and were long-time parishioners of St. Pius X Catholic Church after she and Dan were married.

She was employed for many years with Independent Insurance Agencies until her retirement.

Susie loved spending time in Florida on Sanibel and loved dancing and spending time with her husband and children, her sisters, and long-time friends from Scecina.

Susie is survived by her husband of 60 years, Dan Torzewski, and her children Christy Torzewski, Kerri Torzewski, and Molly Pierce, as well as granddaughters Kiley, Gabriella, and grandson Colton Torzewski. She was preceded in death by her son Kevin Torzewski. She also leaves behind brothers Tom and Jim Thompson, and sisters Nancy Petroff and Pam Vetter, and sisters and brother-in-laws, and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 7200 Sarto Dr., Indianapolis, Indiana. The family will receive guest from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass, burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
