Terri Patrice (Miller) Wright

Terri Patrice (Miller) Wright was born on August 19, 1955 the 7th child born to Eugene Foster Miller and Christina Miller both of whom has preceded her in death. Her son Jermaine Miller also preceded her in death. He had one son Dequan (whom she affectionately called Cricket). Cricket was her pride and joy along with his siblings. She graduated from Crispus Attucks High School in the year 1973. She worked for the Federal Government in various supervisory positions. She retired after 40 years of service.

Terri enjoyed the company of many workmates some became lifelong friends. And they know who they are, just know Terri loved you guys. Terri enjoyed a good meal and was a very good cook. She was also a great seamstress. She enjoyed planting flowers and took great pride in keeping a beautiful yard.

She loved to entertain family and friends and did so as often as she could. She had a heart of gold. She had the best personality and loved to laugh. She had great computer skills and often held classes in her home for those who needed help.

She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 2014. She served as a faithful Witness until her passing. She also loved her spiritual brothers and sisters and wished she could have spent more time with them.

She is survived by 6 siblings, Karen, Randall, Janice, Bruce (Shirley), Paula (Michael) and David and she was preceded in death by her brother Jerry. She leaves to her memory a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and Aunt Pete.

Terri was loved and cared about by her family and many friends. We’ll miss you, Terri!!

Visitation will be held at Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, Memorial Chapel, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46208, on March 3, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, Memorial Chapel, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46208, on March 3, 2026, at 11:00 am.
