Tommy Adams

Tommy C. Adams, age 79, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022. Tommy was born November 29, 1942 in Burkesville, Kentucky. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He worked for Allison Transmission for many years and then General Motors. He was a member of American Legion Post 64 and the Moose Lodge. He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Grace and Claude Brewington, his wife of more than 49 years, Anna Ruth Adams; and his sister, Claudette Smith.

Tommy is survived by his daughters, Lori Adams and Shelia Eichenberger and her husband Mike Sr.; his partner, Mary Eldridge; his grandchildren, Melissa Godwin and Mike Eichenberger, Jr. and his wife Kelly; his great-granddaughter, McKaila Godwin; his sister, Holli Jo Scott and her husband Charles; his aunt, Sabra Spear; and his furbaby Prince.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Family Funeral Care, 5791 Rockville Road, Indianapolis, IN. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Family Funeral Care. Burial will be in West Ridge Park Cemetery with military rites.
