Tressa Ann Barr, age 76, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023. She was born January 10, 1947 in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late Marvin Medcalfe and Barbara (Barnes) Medcalfe. Tressa was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and worked as a teacher's aid for Perry Township Schools. She loved children and working with them at school and at church, volunteering with her family for Vacation Bible School and many other youth programs.
Tressa is survived by her husband of nearly 57 years, Melvin Barr; beloved son, Joshua Barr; siblings, Pat Caudell (Carl) and Tom Medcalfe (Cindy); and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and church friends.
Her family and friends celebrated her life and shared stories and memories with their church on February 18.
