Virginia McPike

91, of Indianapolis, was welcomed into eternal rest by our Lord and Savior on November 28, 2017. She was born Nov. 21, 1926 to Henry and Maude(Ulrich) Brochin in Washington IN. She graduated from St. Vincent's School of Nursing in 1948 and spent her entire life caring for her beloved family as well as countless others as an Registered Nurse in her profession.

She married Albert H. Uebelhor (deceased), and they had two children, Carole Ann Uebelhor and Joseph Uebelhor.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Carole Ann Canada (nee Uebelhor), son in law Robert E. Canada, second husband Charles E. McPike, as well as brothers Harold (and Mildred) Brochin, Robert (and Maxine) Brochin, Carl (and Cleo) Brochin, Charles (at birth) Brochin and sister Norma (and Fred) Allen.

She is survived by her son Joseph Uebelhor of Martinsville, IN, grandsons Eric and Daniel Uebelhor, both of Chicago, Il., grandchildren David and Amy (Marshall) Canada of Beavercreek, Ohio, Amy (Canada)and Lane Sharpe with great grandsons Braden, Levi and Owen of Hartland WI., and Rebekah (Canada) and Dave Boden of Neosho, WI., Step children Steve and Carol McPike, and Scott and Tom McPike, and sister Ada Billings (Noble deceased) Washington IN, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

We will forever remember her relentless loyalty and dedication to family and friends, amazing positive attitude, smiles, laughter, kindness and love of life.

A small, private family celebration of our years with her will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made to St. Vincent Hospice Care, 8450 Payne Road, Indianapolis, In 46268 on her behalf.
