EN EL CUIDADO DE
Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery
Wanda passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on December 3, 2023.
She was born on April 18, 1934, one of ten children born to George and Ina (Gary) Loftus. She married the love of her life, Charles Nell, Jr., on October 9, 1956. Together they raised four children, all of whom survive:
Tim (Lorie) Nell, Chris Nell, David (Connie) Nell and Kim (John) Cooper. Wanda is also survived by her seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and her sister Cathryn Farley.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Charles, brothers William, Kenneth, and James Loftus and sisters Rosemary Bryant, Lola Tuttle, Bonnie Baker, Ruth Holt and Mary Hashbarger. She worked for The Hartford Insurance Company for 34 years, but will be better remembered for the love and care that she
showered on her family. Wanda enjoyed spending time with her family, working puzzles, feeding the wildlife who frequented her yard and Sunday night cards.
Viewing will be held at Crown Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery on Thursday, December 7, 2023 beginning at 11am, with services following at 2pm. A brief graveside committal service will take place following services. Flowers are welcome and donations can be made to Samaritan’s Purse.
