His father, Otis Smith, mother, Mattie Lowe-Smith preceded, him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife, Barbara Smith, son, Will Smith Jr, daughter, Sherry Diane Smith, sisters, Mattie Ola Sweat, Charlene Battle, 10 grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
His visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, 9am - 11am, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home, Peoples Chapel. His burial will take place in Crown Hill Cemetery.
