Bill was a member of the Masonic Lodge #723. He enjoyed playing guitar, and truly enjoyed his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Bill was the owner of a lawn mower repair company for many years before joining Carrier as a Fork Lift Mechanic. He spent 20+ years with Carrier before retiring.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sondra A. (White) Barker; son, William Allen Barker Jr; daughter, Pamela J. Barker; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; long-time friends, Dave Bryant and Jerry Allen.
No services are being held at this time by his family. Arrangements were entrusted to Family Funeral Care, 5791 Rockville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224.
