William "Beanie" Gardner was born March 14, 1929 to the union of Nellie and Ivory Gardner in Keiser, Arkansas. His family moved to Osceola, Arkansas where he joined Tabernacle Baptist Church, where he attended regularly. He was a day laborer most of his life and enjoyed his work and being around people. He was always smiling. After the passing of his mother in 1999 he went to live with his brother Harry, for eleven years. He then, in 2010, moved to Indianapolis, Indiana to live with his sister Del Marie for the last ten years. He was very friendly and gentle and everyone he met liked him. He attended school a short while in Jefferson City, Missouri before returning home. He leaves to cherish his memory, one sister: Del Marie Williams, nieces, nephews and a host of cousins that will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Jimmy, Johnnie, Luckie, Harry James. He lived a good life and was well taken care of, we will miss his smiling face.
