William Edward Hodges, Jr. was born in Indianapolis, IN to William E. Hodges, Sr. and Tracy Y. Tate on August 28th 1991. William was married to Destiny Luther on May 28th 2015 in Indianapolis IN. William attended and graduated from Arlington High School. William worked as a warehouse associate for Adidas. William was involved in basketball and coaching.

William was known to his family and friends as EJ. EJ was extremely loved! EJ was the baby of our family and he was an amazing son, husband, father, brother and friend.

William Edward Hodges Jr. is preceded in death by his brother Adrian L. Hodges, grandparents Frank J. Tate Sr., Dorisene Tate, William L. Hodges and Lorena Hodges.

William Edward Hodges Jr. is survived by his wife Destiny Luther, children Desire and William Hodges III, brothers Michael Haygood Jr. and Brandon Haygood, sister Cherell Hodges and parents William E. Hodges Sr. and Tracy Y. Tate. Nephews Jermaine Holland, Jarrell Holland, Brandon Haygood Jr, Michael Haygood III and Nieces Adrionna Hodges, Adrian Tyler, Madisyn Haygood, Ryleigh Haygood, Mariyah Haygood, and McKenzie Haygood.
