Ken changed my life forever and was a supreme special friend Not a day since last year has gone by without thoughts and fond memories of him The three years I had been grateful to have had with him will be in my heart until I die What a inspiration he is to me still The most fun companion and strong will I knew He was an exceptional man God Bless his family and especially Christine I know what it is like losing my father too soon

I worked with Ken for several years and had the pleasure of being his manager for awhile.  He was one of those people who I can truly say I always enjoyed.  His easy-going style and good humor showed through, even when we didn't agree.  While I hadn't seen him in years, the loss feels new.

Dear Friends of Ken,

On behalf of my niece and nephew and me, thank you for sharing your thoughts- both with us at the memorial service and with these messages.  Ken never talked much about work to me.  When he came to North Carolina, he was ready for barbeque and beach.  But, I did know that he liked his last work assignments working with you guys the best.  He had won several awards from Charles Schwab, but I had no idea of the good things that you have reported.  You know I never thought too much of these funeral messages before this.  However, your thoughts have helped cheer me.  I especially miss my Brother on Sunday night when we usually called each other to catch up.

I am so sorry for your loss. Let Ken's love for you guide you each day. Love is eternal. His smile and phenomenal presence will be sorely missed at Schwab. May God's peace keep your hearts.

I have many great memories of Ken while I worked at Schwab. He amazed me with his knowledge, inspired me with his kindness and never failed to make me laugh every time I saw him. I will always think of him with his eyes sparkling, that wonderful smile and his stories about his trips to Carolina and all the wonderful dinners he had enjoyed along the coast. His family is in my thoughts and prayers. The world lost a wonderful man, but heaven gained an angel. We will miss you old friend.

Ken and I "go way back" as he would say.  The quintessential southern gentleman - charming, articulate, polished, mannered and fastidious.  No one loved the sand, the surf, the sun and BIG FISH more than Ken.  Always up for an adventure.  And I cherish all of them.  What a guy.

I was on a team with Ken when I first started working for the company.  He assisted me many times when I had problems and we talked about different things.  He was always a pleasure to work with and he will be missed.  Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss

To Ken's family.... I am sorry for your loss. Thank you for posting the pictures.  I had the pleasure of working side by side with Ken for several years and have known him since 2004.  I called him my "work dad" which he got a kick out of.  He was a great guy, always had a smile for me and a twinkle in his eye.  Shared many stories, mostly about our love for fishing and he was familiar with Michigan City, New Buffalo and northern Michigan where I have family.  I am sad we never got to do our salmon fishing trip we had planned becuase my dad sold his boat and all his gear with it.  He was a great man and I never met anyone that didnt like him.  He was so proud of his kids and his family and shared many stories.  He was an asset to the firm and several times I came across clients who asked me if I knew him and they had nothing but good things to say also.  Again I am sorry for your loss and I bet he is fishing in heaven as I write this. Im a better person for having known him.

I will miss you, Ken, and will always treasure the fun times and memories we shared. Sleep well, dear friend.

Dear Simons Family,

I've worked with Ken for many years and I can promise you that he will be greatly missed. Whether we were sharing fish stories (he had some great tales about fishing with family back in NC) or we were running into each other while enjoying music at The Capri Restaurant, I always enjoyed Ken's friendship. Ken carried himself with dignity and class and I'll miss him.

Ken was a awesome person.  There was NEVER a dull moment with him.  I loved the stories of his life he would always tell.  I will miss him so much.  Your family is my thoughts and prayers.  God Bless.

I only knew Ken from work, but what wonderful conversations we would share about North Carolina, music, and local things to do in Indy. I will miss his sense of humor and company.  I am so sorry for your loss.
