

Winona was born in Indianapolis, IN to Albert and Minnie L. Scott on May 8th, 1952. Winona also known as Nona B. or Nonie attended Indianapolis Public School #36 and graduated from Crispus Attucks High School in 1970. She married William C. Davis on November 1st, 1975 in Indianapolis, IN. Winona worked for several companies during her life which included Housing Authority, GTE, ADT, and most recently Ivy Tech. She was very smart and a dedicated worker.
Winona professed a hope in Christ at an early age and really loved the Lord. She attended Northside New Era Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Noonie E. Vincent when she was younger and loved to sing in the choir. She also fellowshipped with New Era under the leadership of Pastor Clarence C. Moore. Later in life Winona attended Spirit of Life Church under Pastor Zane Bousum.
Winona loved to clean and volunteered to clean different churches around the Indianapolis area. She also enjoyed the outdoors, loved to go camping, and frequently went on nature walks. She was an awesome cook and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. She always carried around a camera and took pictures of all her family and friends.
Winona is preceded in death by father, Albert Scott Sr. mother, Minnie L. Scott, sister, Julia Ann Duke, brother, Albert Scott, Jr.
Winona is survived by daughters, Paula Scott, and Sheila (Derrick) Glass; son, Marcus (Demetria) Scott; Grandchildren, Keairia Harris, Keania Harris, Courtney (Carlton) Hines, Daisia Glass, Marcus Scott, Jr., Derrick Glass, Jr., Demetrius Scott, Taz Scott, Demarks Scott, and Sinqua Minnie Mae Scott; great-grandchildren, Isaac Heath, Jr., Marquis Watts, Elana Tinnin, Chinaya Mackey, Makenzie Kay Craig, Jerzey Keets and Adrian Harris; nephews, Luther M. Duke, Jason Scott and Quincy Scott; a host of cherished friends and family.
Funeral services will be held 12 P.M. Saturday November 23 at Crown Hill Funeral Home with the Bishop Larry D. Glass of Abundant Faith Apostolic Church, Officiating & Eulogist. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Crown Hill Funeral Home.
