Edward Lamar Harris, Jr., age 56, of Jackson, AL passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at a local hospital. Mr. Harris was born on September 26, 1959 to Edward Lamar Harris, Sr. and Sereda Blackmon. He loved fishing, hunting and Auburn University. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Lamar Harris, Sr. Survivors include his 3 sons: Chris Harris of Jackson, AL, Joseph Harris of Whatley, AL and Dale Harris of Whatley, AL; Mother, Sereda Blackmon; 2 sisters, Angie Sullivan of Wagarville, AL and Delilah Morgan of Tuscaloosa, AL.. He also considered his co-workers at Ramey's/Pic-n-Save to be his family. The family will have a Gathering on Monday, April 11, 2016 from 6-8PM at Lathan Funeral Home.
