Harold "Dick" Lloyd Walker

Mr. Harold Lloyd "Dick" Walker, age 88, of Jackson, AL passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at North Baldwin Infirmary. Mr. Walker was born on June 27, 1927 in Pleasant Hill, AL. He was a maintenance electrician at Boise Cascade and a veteran of the United States Army.Harold loved hunting and fishing and was a good "fixer". His daughter-in-law, Elizabeth C. Walker preceded in him death. He is survived by is wife of nearly 65 years, Elizabeth Walker of Jackson, AL; 4 children, Eric Walker of Jackson, AL, Joyce (Paul) McLendon of Satsuma, AL, Kenny H. (Cathy) Walker of Jackson, AL and Jan (Keven) Shaw of Mobile, AL; 7 grandchildren, John McLendon, Elizabeth Walker, James McLendon, Banks Walker, Stephen Shaw, David Walker and Walker Shaw; 7 great-grandchildren, Caleb McLendon, Luke McLendon, Bella Walker, Pryce Walker, Elizabeth McLendon and Will McClendon. A graveside funeral service with military honors will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 10:00a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church. In addition, the family will receive friends at Forest Avenue Baptist Church on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 1:00PM until the 2:00PM Memorial Service time. Rev. Paul McLendon, Rev. Dustin Shelander and David Thomas officiating. Active pallbearers will be Mr. Walker's grandsons. Lathan Funeral Home, Jackson, AL directing.
