Mrs. Martha Purvis Roberts

Martha Purvis Roberts, age 84, born September 26, 1930, died June 27, 2015. Mrs. Roberts was a lifelong resident of Coffeeville, AL where she was a member of Ulcanush Baptist Church. Mrs. Roberts loved her home, family, kids and grandchildren dearly. Mrs. Roberts is preceded in death by her parents, Agnew and Irena Purvis; husbands Ewell Roberts in 1988 and Clarence “Ray” Roberts in 2007; brother, Monroe Purvis and sister Ida Purvis. She is survived by her sons, Clark (Susan) Roberts of Jackson, AL and Laurie (Leesa) Roberts of Coffeeville, AL; brother, Agnew (Bobbie) Purvis of Chickasaw, AL; grandchildren, Sheramie Larrimore, Chelsea Roberts, Zachary Roberts, Jesse Roberts, Harley Rikard and Kelly Rikard; great grandchildren, John Patrick Larrimore, Lynlee Larrimore and Spencer Long. Visitation will be Monday, June 29, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Ulcanush Baptist Church, Coffeeville, AL. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Ulcanush Baptist Church with Mrs. Roberts will lie in state from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
