Roland Keith Graham

Roland Keith Graham, 72, of Coffeeville, passed away September 17, 2016 at his residence. He was born April 23, 1944 to Roland and Beryl Ford Graham. Mr. Graham was born in Hattiesburgh, MS, moved to Thomasville as a child and at the age of 17 moved to Coffeeville with his family. He primarily remained a resident of Coffeeville for the rest of his life. Mr. Graham held many jobs as a master mechanic and carpenter. He served as a pastor for many years in his community and was also a long-time member of the Clarke County Board of Education. Mr. Graham was a member of Ulcanush Baptist Church. His love for Christ was evident in how he lived his life. Mr. Graham never met a stranger and loved people. He will be remembered as a loving husband and devoted father to his children and grandson as well as a dear friend to many. He will also be remembered for being a wonderful brother and uncle to a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Roland Graham; mother, Beryl Hawkins: step-father, Carey Newton Hawkins; and sister, Cora Faye Phillips. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joyce Autry Graham; sons, Timothy (Kim) Graham of Coffeeville and Carey Anthony “Tony” Graham of McMurray, Pennsylvania; grandson, Daniel Keith Graham; two sisters, Rozella Ann (Jackie) Bouler of Thomasville and Molly Bea (Randy) Elmore of St. Stephens; and brother, Michael Wayne (Ann) Ford of Tallahassee, FL. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Ulcanush Baptist Church in Coffeeville with the Revs. Eddie Butch Starks and Jesse Griffith officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Lathan Funeral Home directing. Active pallbearers will be Taylor Elmore, Tyler Elmore, Jared Elmore, Jeremy Bouler, Gary Garrick, Jr., and Randy Elmore.
