William Terry Onderdonk

William Terry Onderdonk, 68, of Mobile, passed away November 13, 2015 at Providence Hospital. He was born August 4, 1947. Lovingly known as “Bampa” to his grandchildren, he was an avid fan of nature, fishing, gardening, feeding ducks and Alabama football. He was well-known for a huge heart and being generous with his time, especially with his grandchildren. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Ella Onderdonk and brother, Benjamin Onderdonk, Jr. He is survived by his daughters, Terri Onderdonk, Lanie Onderdonk Powell; grandchildren, Blakley Endress, Joshua Onderdonk; nephews, William Onderdonk, Paul Onderdonk and cousins, Amanda London, Rebecca Reynolds and Jimmy Dumas. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Monday, November 30, 2015 at Lathan Funeral Home in Chatom. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
