Alexia Welter Hart Ray, 97, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Alexia was born on January 7, 1918. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2015 from 4-6 pm at Lakewood Funeral Home, and on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 10-11 am. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel, with burial immediately following at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Alexia is preceded in death by husband, James F. Hart.
She is survived by her husband, W.O. Ray, Jr.; children, Carol Hoyt (Edd), Jim Hart, Jr. (Carla), Michael Hart, Terry Kaplan, and Susan Hester; her step-children; and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
